Traveling can be one of the best experiences of your life – but sometimes it’s hard to choose where to go when you’re in a new country. If you’re looking for where your next destination should be, here’s a few pictures I took of my favorite travel spots in Italy – and what you should do when you go there!

Venice

Few places can rival the beauty of Venice. If you have a chance to go, make sure you take a gondola ride through its system of canals! It sounds basic, but no visit to Venice would be complete without trying this out. After that, make sure you check out the Bridge of Sighs, feed the pigeons in St. Mark’s Square, or buy a gondolier’s uniform at Emilio Ceccato!

Leaning Tower of Pisa

Few landmarks in the world are more iconic than the Leaning Tower of Pisa. If you’re in Italy, you definitely need to find time to visit this slouching giant – and feel free to take a cheesy picture of yourself trying to prop it up. While in the area, be sure to check out the seven bells at the top of the tower, and grab a bite to eat at the renown Ristorante La Scaletta!

Piazza dei Miracoli

Few buildings in Italy rival the beauty and allure of the sacred Piazza dei Miracoli (Square of Miracles). Whether you spend the day relaxing on it’s beautiful green lawns, checking out the ornate and incredible architecture inside, or quietly reflect in the beautiful graveyard, this enormous structure offers plenty of opportunities to marvel at one of Tuscany’s greatest treasures.

There are plenty of other things you can do in Italy – I could fill a book with my recommendations and experiences in this beautiful country! But hopefully this list helps set you in the right direction of what to do if you visit here. No matter where you end up going, it’s sure to be an unforgettable experience!
